Marble Polishing

Diamonds are used to create a new surface to your Natural stone. Think of these diamonds like sandpaper because they come in varying grits from very low to very high. These diamonds create friction which in the final stages are what create and determines your level of gloss or shine.We use them in a wet environment so as not to create dust during our projects,by utilizing water.Beginning with lower grit Diamonds we continue up each step with progressively higher grit Diamonds. The condition of your floor or surface and the expectation of the customer determines the level of Diamonds we begin with and end with before we begin the polishing process to the desired finish(matted finish to mirror finish). Polishing is done with special equipment and a specific polishing compound for each Natural Stone Type as not all Stone is created equal.Properly restored or maintained, Natural Stone should never have a topical coating applied and is easily cared for. Once your project is completed you will be instructed on proper maintenance and care.
